Advanced Gypwall Single Frame Partitions
Course Description
This is a 2-day course that follows on from our beginner-level ‘Introduction to Gypwall Single Frame Partitions’. It’s designed to build on basic knowledge of installing metal stud partitions and will help participants to work with competence to the highest standards. The course covers more advanced installation details such as deflection head formation, creating services opening in fire rated partitions, forming oversized door openings and control joints in partitions. It’s a good next step to build on skills for anyone who has already completed the Introduction to Gypwall Single Frame Partitions course. Across the 2 days there’s an emphasis on practical work with some verbal and video input and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. By the end of the course participants will have the skills to install more advanced metal stud details, demonstrating safe and healthy working practices and interpreting drawings and written information with confidence and competence. Delivered by industry experts, attendees can develop their drylining skills further by taking our GypCeiling or Commercial Wall-linings courses as a follow-up.
